Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI) Framework for the A2D Facility

The Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI) Framework for UNIDO’s A2D Facility sets out the principles, requirements, and actions needed to ensure that all supported demonstration projects integrate gender equality, diversity, and social inclusion throughout their design and implementation. The Framework introduces the GESI Ambition Matrix and mandates that all projects meet at least the GESI‑Sensitive standard while encouraging progress toward empowering and transformative outcomes.
